0844 Numbers
With a Callagenix 0844 number you pay NO incoming call charges but you can earn up to 1.25ppm. When your customer phones your 0844 number they are charged 5ppm and their call is automatically (and instantly) redirected to whichever phone number you have given us, or will run your Callagenix service. In the light of recent Ofcom changes to 0870 numbers, 0844 numbers are becoming more popular for clients looking to generate small revenues.

How do 0844 numbers work?
Basic Service 0844 numbers (Number Direct)
You simply decide which number you would like, and we do the rest. Your 0844 phone number "sits" on top of your UK landline number. When customers dial your 0844 free phone number they are redirected to your landline (destination number). This does not affect your UK landline number in any way. Using the basic Callagenix “free service” 0844 numbers will only work diverting to UK landline numbers. If you need to change the destination number, or collect call data, simply login to your Callagenix account. 0844 Numbers and Advanced Services (Callagenix Services)
0844 national rate numbers can be integrated with other Callagenix advanced services such as virtual switchboard (see sample diagram below), answer phone, fax, call diversion, company information line, group divert, call forward and call transfer.
Here the caller dials the Callagenix number, the call is routed to a Callagenix platform that runs your service and handles the call is the manner you prescribe. This may involve a simple announcement or divert to a mobile or UK lanldine, or it may involve call options and call center hunt groups.
