Overview - Why use the call transfer service?
The
call transfer service gives you the ability to
forward calls to another person within the organization,
or even to an external telephone number. Even if
you only have a small number of employees, being
able to transfer calls to the right person quickly
and professionally increases the efficiency of
your service and the speed with which customer
enquiries can be handled.
If your business is based in different locations, you can easily put calls through to people in other offices rather than simply asking them to call again. By using call transfer and providing your customers with a single telephone number, you can ensure that they will be able to reach you wherever you are, either to a mobile number, a landline number, or even a non-UK number if you are out of the country.
How does the call transfer service work?
When a customer calls your telephone number, the person answering has the option of placing the call on hold or transferring it to any other telephone number. You can set up an internal network of extension numbers, or you can transfer them to any valid external landline or mobile number. The customer will see an internal telephone network regardless of the type of telephone number they are being transferred to.
Calls can also be transferred to any other Callagenix service, such as a virtual switchboard, recorded message or voicemail service.
How much does the call transfer service cost?
FREE!
The call transfer is a feature option on the Call Diversion and Group Divert services. You are only charged for the cost of the phone call wherever it is going. Transfer to voicemail or back to a virtual switchboard is free of charge.
Can be added freely to any of the Callagenix Divert services.
